WE ARE NOW IN ALL FIFTY STATES!
We had been holding out to do a Hawaii project in person, but when the opportunity arose to do the Historic Lihue Lutheran Church on the island of Kauai for the celebration of its 125th Anniversary, we jumped at the chance. Parishioners were delighted with the new look that reflected both the church's proud history as well as their new face to the future.
WE'RE WINNERS IN THE CHICAGO FINEST PAINTED LADIES CONTEST AGAIN!
After designing color schemes for four previous contest winners, The Color People has scored again. This time the color scheme was designed by Megan—her first winner. Beth O'Reilly's home at 10610 S Leavitt in Chicago has been chosen to be honored as one of Chicago's Finest Painted Ladies in the 2005 edition of this annual Chicago celebration of history and architecture. We are extremely pleased for her and honored to be selected once again.
WE ARE HONORED FOR OUR WORK ON DENVER'S HISTORIC BARTH HOTEL
Run by Senior Housing Options Inc. as a home for urban seniors needing assisted living, the exterior of the Barth Hotel on Blake Street, in the LoDo section of downtown Denver, was just completely renovated. The color scheme was donated by us as a contribution to the work SHO is doing there for poor seniors, and as a contribution to beautifying the streets of our fair city.
In a celebration hosted by Mayor John Hickenlooper, we were presented an historic brick from the building turned into a Commemorative award. Not only the Management but, more importantly, the residents are totally thrilled with the new look which makes the building look warm, light, and convivial.
